Overall Role

The position is responsible for accumulation and review of data for companies in coverage universe and maintenance of models for Research Team, and support of Trade Administration and Operations, offering competitive salary with benefits package.

Job Description

ACTIVITY A: Research Assistance (50%)

  • Financial modeling and coverage of specific companies and industries
  • Preparation of daily macro package
  • Administration of daily data models and trade platform
  • Special projects as assigned by investment team

ACTIVITY B: Trading, Administration & Office Support (40%)

  • Assist Trade Team with market transactions
  • Communicate with custodians and brokers as required
  • Trading and Settlements of public and private transactions
  • Assistance with Investment Policy Statements (checking account compliance, generating IPS)
  • Work with and assist application development team to improve processes and digitize workflows
  • Filing and scanning for all teams as needed

Client Service and Business Development Support (10%)

  • Manage new client on-boarding: paperwork, transfers & administration
  • Assist and resolve client requests or issues
  • Assist Investment Management Team with account reviews
  • Prepare new client and existing annual packages
  • Assist with prospect proposals & financial planning
  • Participate in cold calling

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Interest in capital markets and pursuit of CIM or CFA designation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team
  • High emphasis on ethics and integrity
  • Attention to detail and pride in providing quality service
